The interiors of the St. James Hotel and Club are currently undergoing complete renovation by an international team of architects and designers led by the award-winning interior designer AMJ Design, from Berlin.

Each of the luxurious 60 guest rooms and suites will reflect Althoff Hotels? attention to detail, incorporating state-of-the-art technology and exquisite furnishings. Many will have their own balcony and views over the rooftops of the historic St James's district. The penthouse suite will feature a large rooftop terrace, unrivalled in this part of London.

Exclusively designed and in harmony with the elegance of the Victorian building, the rooms have an average size of 25 m². All rooms are exclusively finished with handmade silk wallpaper, black lacquered furniture, hand crafted Murano glass chandeliers and polished natural stones in the bathroom. In addition to the listed room facilities, rooms come with laptop safes, iPod docking stations and flat-screen TVs. All rooms also include built-in wardrobes to offer a more spacious feel.

The Restaurant:
In the last few years, St James?s has become one of the most fashionable areas of London in which to dine. This reputation is now enhanced by the arrival of the Dieter Muller, the triple Michelin-starred chef who has designed a superb menu for the hotel?s new restaurant.

Dieter Muller has recently been named one of the 100 most distinguished chefs in the world, and under his direction, guests will be able to go on a voyage of exploration. An exploration of the variety of culinary traditions and tastes on the route followed by the explorer Marco Polo, from Venice to China.

Thanks to Dieter Muller and his team, the St James Hotel & Club is now a culinary landmark in its own right.

By Train/Tube
From London Heathrow Airport:
The Heathrow Express runs about every 15 minutes from the airport to London Paddington Station and takes just 15 minutes to reach Paddington. From Paddington, you can take the London Underground to Green Park Station, which is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Alternatively, take the Piccadilly Line of the London Underground to Green Park Underground station.

From London Gatwick Airport:
The Gatwick Express train service runs regularly to London Victoria Station and will take approximately 30 minutes. You can take the Victoria Line of the London Underground (one stop) to Green Park Station.

From London City Airport:
Take the Docklands Light Railway then change to the Jubilee Line of the London Underground network and get off at Green Park Station.
