The hotel tradition in our family dates back to 1898. The cosy Hotel Continental Barcelona in a semi-classical English style is currently being refurbished and extended.
This is not a luxury hotel but our aim is to ensure that guests feel right at home in a warm, friendly atmosphere. To achieve this, one of our most highly valued services is the snack buffet, where guests can eat and drink, free of charge, at any time of the day or night, 24 hours a day. We can be found in the heart of Barcelona on the famous ?Ramblas? next to the popular and lively ?Plaza Catalunya?.
The location is on the best commercial, tourist and business districts of the city. On foot, we find on the nearby area: the Gothic neighbourhood and the cathedral, the famous Ramblas, the sea and the beaches, Gaudí's Sagrada Familia (church), the Palau de la Música, the shops?
From our hotel, transport connections are perfect: there are underground, bus and train stations and stops within walking distance.
