The Merrion Hotel offers a warm welcome to all kinds of guests, from tourists, commercial and business travellers, participants at symposia and incentive tourists, to the most demanding business clients, who may want to rent an office or a lounge.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 10:30 on weekdays and from 8:00 until 11:00 on weekends in a comfortable garden setting in our glass-panelled restaurant. The hotel's lobby bar is open non-stop, but only for drinks. A restaurant only 50 metres from the hotel is open daily from 11:00 to 23:00 and offers lunch and dinner.

Bus and tram stops are easily accessible from the hotel and all the major attractions are no more than a 15-minute walk away.

The hotel is located in a green residential area of the district Prague 3. Walk south into Vinohrady to see elegant architecture and scenic parks and gardens. Travel west to Prague 1 to some of the city's famous attractions: the Old Town Square, the Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square.

If you want to attend a concert, you can visit the Palác Akropolis. An elevator will take you to the highest tower in the Czech Republic, the ?i?kov television tower with its restaurant. Shopping, entertainment and films can be enjoyed in the shopping centre Palác Flora. Vítkov Park is also very close. It offers wonderful vistas of Prague and is ideal for jogging and taking walks. The park is home to the National Vítkov Monument featuring a statue of Jan ?i?ka, the famous 15th century warrior.

The location has good links to the main arterial road and to the D1 motorway, heading to Brno or to the D8 motorway in the direction of Teplice. Via the centre and Plze?ská street you will reach the D5 direction Pilsen, Rozvadov, Nuremberg.

Bus:
The hotel is only a few steps away from the 207 and 133 bus line stops, which go to the Florenc metro station and bus depot, before continuing to the historical centre via Starom?stská metro station.

Tram:
Tram no. 9 from the Biskupcova stop takes you to Hlavní nádra?í (Main Railway Station ) and to Masarykovo nádra?í (Masaryk Railway Station).

To the Airport:
Apart from the airport shuttle service bookable via the the hotel you can make use of the bus line 136 from the ?ernínova stop to go to the Flora metro station, and then proceed by metro to the Dejvická station where you change to bus no. 119 which takes you to the Ruzyn? Airport.

From Florenc bus station there is the regular Airport Bus to Ruzyn? Airport, which continues on to Karlovy Vary. From the city centre there is a regular minibus service
