The house was built in 1888. During the communist regime its was expropriated and wasted away for 40 years. After the Velvet Revolution the original owner got it back in an awful condition. We bought it from him in 1993 and in several years renewed it to its current state. The intention was to preserve the atmosphere of old Prague and especially of the picturesque Zizkov district. The facade is full of precious stucco details and the cobbled inner courtyard with its typical galleries enchants with its authentic Old-Prague atmosphere.

We don't provide internet access, but there a several internet cafes on Wenceslas square, easily reachable by public transport.

Breakfast: buffet is available in the Billiard Club on the ground floor of the Apartment house (entrance in Chlumova Street). Breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. It is necessary to order it from the club one day in advance.

Our Apartment-house is located in the City centre, all major sights are close by. The house is located in the eastern side of the City. Seifertova Street is the main street passing through this district called Zizkov. It is an old district with special atmosphere. There are many nice and historical buildings and most of them are already reconstructed after our Velvet revolution in 1989. All around our house you can find plenty of nice restaurants, cafes etc.
Here you also have the opportunity to visit a typical czech pub where the most common dishes are served for very reasonable prices. These restaurants are not made for tourists so you can really join the everyday life of our people. One of these restaurants is located just next to our house, 15 metres right from the main exit and is called "U hroznu".

From the main train station (Hlavni nadrazi) by public transport :
- Trams 5, 9 or 26 for just 2 stops to the Lipanska stop
- As soon as you get off the tram you will see the house just across the street opposite from the tram stop.
- Around the corner, left of the main door, there is the bar where you can pick up the keys to your apartment.

From the Holesovice train station by public transport :
- Tram 5 for 12 stops and get off at the Lipanska stop.
- Proceed as indicated above.
The journey will take about 20 minutes.

From the airport by public transport:
- Bus 119 to the line A metro stop Dejvicka
- Take the metro for 8 stops to "Flora".
- Go up and take the second exit on the left for "Tram/Namesti Miru/Nusle/ Karlovo Namesti/Motol/Repy" and you will arrive right at the tram stop
- Take tram no. 5 and go 2 stops to "Lipanska".
Our house is about 50 metres further on the right hand side.

There is also an airport shuttle bus.

Pets:
small pets ( dogs and cats ) are welcomed too - free of any charge.

Disabled facilities:
Unfortunately the hotel is not accessible by wheel chair.

Extra beds:
there are no extra beds available.

Internet facilities:
There are no Internet facilities for our guests, but there are some Internet Cafes at Wenceslas Sqaure, which you can reach with the tram number 9 ( 4 stops ). Most of them have reasonable prices.

Parking possibilities:
Guests can park their car at the car park at Hotel Olsanka - garage entrance access from Lupacova Street, price CZK 250 per day ( app. EUR 18 / day ). They can also use the free parking area located also in Lupacova Street ( also secure because it?s located right opposite Police station ). We do not advice you to leave your car on the public street.

Airport shuttle service:
The only international airport in Prague is RUZYNE. It takes approximately 90-120 minutes if you take the shuttle bus. If you choose the public transportation it will take longer. There is a firm called Cedaz which can organize pick up from and to the Prague Airport.
Price: 1-4 passengers: 480 CZK ( app. EUR 16 ); 5-8 passengers: 960 CZK ( EUR 32 ).
Pre-reservation to the airport is necessary at least 2 hours in advance.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 0.70 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: No internet access available.

Meal Plan: Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 4.00 per person.

Parking: No parking available.

Pets: Pets are allowed. No extra charges.

Children up to the age of 3 years can stay for free in the room of the parents. Children between the age of 3 and 12 years will receive 50% discount. Breakfast is excluded.
